Adult Aerials
CLASSES EXTENDED THROUGH SEPTEMBER!
EVENT LOCATION: Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, 2357 Route 6, Wellfleet
Circus isn’t just for kids! Join our aerial arts classes at Cirque by the Sea, led by professional circus artist Serene. Designed for all levels and body types aged 15 and up, these classes primarily focus on basic aerial silks, with introductions to lyra and trapeze. No prior experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable, movable clothing that covers the backs of your knees and armpits, and remember to bring a water bottle.

About the instructor: Serene (she/her) is a Circus Performer, Aerial Coach, Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist. She discovered the joy of movement in 2014 while studying aerial dance, flying trapeze and partner acrobatics in Boston, and has since traveled the world teaching and performing. Serene's teaching style encourage students to build a deep understanding of the body while embracing their innate creative essence, and her classes have been described as “a great celebration of the body!”
Payomet's Cirque by the Sea programming is presented in partnership with WHAT and the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, a local nonprofit professional theater company dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the Outer Cape through plays and innovative programming that entertains, inspires, and informs a multi-generational audience.
