Payomet's Sweet Summer Soirée
Payomet Performing Arts Center has a long-standing tradition of uniting the community through the power of music and exceptional performances– and this cool evening under the tent will be no exception.
You're invited to salute another spectacular season with us at our Sweet Summer Soirée on Sunday, August 18– an intimate gathering of Payomet pals and friends, right under our very own tent in North Truro– which will transform into a pop-up blues club of yore. This special evening will be a celebration of summer, filled with the warm ambiance of friends and community.
This soirée promises to be convivial evening featuring locally sourced cocktails, mocktails and apps, including a short intimate performance by acclaimed bluesman Kevin Burt, honoring special guest neuroscientist and author of Still Alice, Lisa Genova, and comic relief provided by comedian and host, Jimmy Tingle.
