Live Early Stages: Thoreau on the Cape Two Artists in Conversation
Sunday, June 14 // 11:30am EST
Registration required
The Tiny Tent's Live Early Stages event welcomes Ben Shattuck and William Bolton, two artists who have been drawn to retrace Thoreau's footsteps on Cape Cod.
Ben Shattuck's walks resulted in a gorgeous essay, "Three Walks," and enchanting drawings. William Bolton's led to evocative works that incorporate sparse plein air paintings and striking text. Ben will read from his essay "Three Walks" and then join William in a lively and wide ranging conversation on art, Thoreau, Cape Cod, and nature.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Wellfleet Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
