Note that all tickets are 'General Admission' meaning you are guaranteed a seat within your selected section, however not a specific seat. General Admission seats are first come, first served. If you are attending with a large party, we reccomend arriving early to find seats together. Please arrive no earlier than 1 hour before the show.

Note our Bag Policy: All bags are subject to search. Bags bigger than 12x12 will not be allowed into the venue. No exceptions. Patrons will be asked to return backpacks and large bags to their vehicles before entering the venue. We are beyond excited to welcome beloved filmmaker and pop-culture icon John Waters on stage – live! – performing his spoken word show Devil’s Advocate on Thursday, July 25 at Provincetown Town Hall as part of Payomet's Road Show series.
Is John Waters a cautionary contrarian, a reactionary radical, or a true Devil’s Advocate? In this all-new, fast-moving, part-confessional, part-inquisitional comic spoken word show, the filth elder known for his “transgressive” films and his “subversive” books salutes the new gender-guerilla generation of today for doing the impossible — actually making him nervous. Together, he demands, we must form a new rainbow of rancid colors and seize back the sexual revolution from the self-righteousness of the left and the intolerance of the right.
A new middle-of-the-road madness that uses humor as terrorism, wit as ammunition. A happy family of all-age, cuckoo crossover: hip-hop hippies, pansy punks, queer gangstas, down-low hos, and shit-kicking skeezers.
