Showtunes! You’ve never heard them like this before! Ella Mae Dixon is back on Thursday, August 6 to present the Golden Age of the musical comedy, as told through the language of jazz. What would a cross between Liza Minnelli and Anita O’Day sound like? Bette Midler and Ella Fitzgerald? Ethel Merman and Shirley Horn? Come find out! It’s dazzling, bold, brassy, and packed with the vintage showbiz flair for which Ella Mae Dixon is known. It’s Broadway, Ella Mae’s way. This show is brought to life by one of New York City’s top contemporary jazz ensembles– The Matt Baker Trio. Come experience the 22-year-old starlette in the making who critics have called “genuinely special,” “a natural comedienne,” and “reminiscent of a young Barbra Streisand.” [Stephen Mosher, BroadwayWorld; Grace Jordan, BroadwayWorld].

Ella Mae Dixon, originally from Wellfleet, Massachusetts, is a jazz vocalist and cabaret singer living in New York City. Ella Mae is drawn to the music of a bygone era. Her performances give new energy to old melodies while paying homage to the styles of yesterday. By the time she turned 22, Ella Mae had already directed, designed, and produced 10 solo concerts. In March of 2023, at just 19 years old, Ella Mae made her New York City headlining debut to a sold-out crowd at Birdland Jazz Club. Since then, she has sold-out concert venues, has been a guest artist with the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, and has headlined some of the most prestigious nightclubs in America and abroad (most recently in London at The Crazy Coqs and in Paris with two sold out shows at 38Riv Jazz Club). Ella Mae’s debut album “Introducing Ella Mae Dixon” came out in October of 2025.
