The walls are painted Victorian-era colors based on a historical paint analysis. New architectural moldings define the ceiling, which is also plastered with materials that improve the room's acoustics. The oak floors are newly polished and the woodwork and the stage are cleaned up. Gone are the makeshift metal poles that supported the balcony. There's air-conditioning now and new ductwork housed in the attic above the auditorium, which is designed to mute distracting sounds during performances, say architect Mark Almeda of McGinley Kalsow & Associates, Inc. and Provincetown building commissioner Russell Braun.

Wellfleet Preservation Hall is a year-round arts and cultural community center with two beautiful performance spaces, located in a newly renovated historic building in the center of Wellfleet Village.
