Performance Youth Troupe is an invite-only weekly class for young circus artists who are ready to take their skills to the next level. This performance-focused program gives students the opportunity to develop their artistry, stage presence, and confidence while creating one or two original circus acts in the disciplines that interest them most.
Over the course of six classes, students will work collaboratively with instructors and fellow performers to develop, refine, and rehearse their acts. The session culminates in an optional public performance at Oyster Fest Saturday October 17th, giving students the exciting opportunity to share their work with the community.
Program Details
Prerequisite: Invite only. Please email circus@payomet.org to request approval.
Ages: 7–18
Schedule: Thursdays, 3:30 – 4:45 PM
Dates: September 10 – October 15,
(9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15)
6-class session bundle: $180
Drop-in: $35, $40, or $45 (pay what you can)
Location: Big Top Circus Tent at WHAT in Wellfleet, MA (off Rte. 6)
Limited to 14 sign-ups at a time.
